Union Bay Improvement District byelection advance polls are Nov. 12

Three candidates vying to replace departed chair Paul Healey on the board

Advance polling is happening Tuesday, Nov. 12 for the position of trustee on the Union Bay Improvement District.

The byelection was called after former chair Paul Healey stepped down this fall. Nominations closed on Nov. 5 for the vacant post on the five-person board.

Three candidates have put their name forward: Treasure Ducharme, Teresa Knight and Ian Munro.

Advance voting takes place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the dining room of Union Bay Community Hall at 5401 South Island Hwy. Regular voting happens on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the UBID office on 5579B South Island Hwy. in Union Bay.
