Continuing mechanical problems plague the routine operations of the cable ferry located at Needles, B.C. WaterBridge Ferries Inc.’s Marine Operations Manager Robin Cooke issued a statement Tuesday May 2 explaining the current status.
“Due to the unforeseen problems we encountered yesterday, for the next two days, we will continue our service, but we will be off schedule while the vessel’s Mechanical refit is completed. Passengers might experience some minor service interruptions, depending on traffic volume, during this period. We are expecting to be back on normal service early now this Friday morning [May 4, 2018.] WaterBridge Ferries regrets any inconvenience this causes our passengers but we will strive to complete this necessary maintenance in as timely a manner as possible.”
