UPDATE: On Friday, July 10, Nanaimo RCMP issued a statement that said Harry was found safe and sound.
PREVIOUSLY POSTED: A Nanaimo teen is missing and RCMP are asking for the public’s help in trying to locate her.
Trisha Harry, 17, left her home in south Nanaimo on Sunday evening and hasn’t returned, says a Nanaimo RCMP press release.
“Harry’s family and friends are extremely worried for her safety and well-being,” the release notes.
Harry is indigenous, 5-foot-7, 125 pounds with medium-length dark hair with blue highlights. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, light-coloured jeans, a black jacket and black shoes. The photo provided was taken several months ago.
Anyone with information on Harry’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP at 250-754-2345.
