UPDATE 6:19 a.m. Friday (Dec. 11): Police obtained a search warrant at 11:30 p.m. to search the residence. The search was carried out by the Lower Mainland District Integrated Police Service Team, but no one was found inside.
The investigation at the residence went well into the night, and investigators are now resting, according to Sgt. Judy Bird.
“There is still a long investigation ahead. Investigators will be at the house today,” Bird said.
A news release will be coming later this morning.

Abbotsford Police have blocked off Clearbrook Road between Oak Avenue and Peardonville Road for an incident that began Thursday afternoon (Dec. 10).
Members of the emergency response team have surrounded a house at 2369 Clearbrook Rd., with police calling for those inside to come out because they are under arrest.
Abbotsford Police Sgt. Judy Bird said police received reports that a man covered in blood was fleeing the residence. Upon arrival, police located the injured man, who was transported to hospital for treatment of serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking people to avoid the area.
As of 9:45 p.m., the APD was reporting that the area was still blocked off.
“This investigation is ongoing and expected to last into the night. There is no known risk to the public,” the APD stated on their Facebook page.
