27-year-old man slated to appear in court today

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the robbery of Campbell River’s Jolly Giant convenience store.

Campbell River RCMP say the Campbell River man will appear in court today for the charge of robbery.

Campbell River CrimeStoppers distributed a photo of a man the police were asking for information about after someone robbed the Jolly Giant convenience store in Campbell River on Monday.

The theft happened just before 3 p.m., when a man “attended the Jolly Giant and robbed the store by forcefully taking money from the till,” according to Campbell River Crime Stoppers.
