A man somehow rolled his side-by-side ATV as he was riding it on his property, said deputy fire chief with the Pitt Meadows Fire Department, Brad Perrie.
A family member called for help when they discovered he was injured.
Although Perrie was unsure if the ATV driver was wearing a helmet, he said he conscious and sustained head and chest injuries.
“He was complaining about his chest and ribs on his right side and it was noted he did have bruising on the side of his face and head,” said Perrie.
The man was taken to Royal Columbian Hospital by ambulance.
