UPDATE: Both Courtenay problem houses on 20 Street now up for sale

Property at 2310 now listed as well as one at 1655

Both homes exposed in a recent Comox Valley Record article about illegal activities in a Courtenay neighbourhood are now up for sale.

A for-sale sign was posted on the 1655 20 Street property on Wednesday, June 27.

On Friday, June 29, the 2310 20 Street home also had a “for sale” sign on it.

Multiple neighbours in the nearby area have spoken to The Record about the drug activity undertaken at the house and their concerns for personal safety. Some neighbours said they went as far as starting a block watch, while others installed home security systems.

On Sunday, June 3, several RCMP officers attended the1655 20 St. house while an arrest warrant was executed. Four arrests were later made at the property on June 11.

Both homes have been listed by Royal LePage. The asking price is $489,900 for each property.

The homeowner of the property is Amandio Santos. Calls to the homeowner went straight to voicemail.
