*Edited: One day after issuing a press release that Darius Commodore was wanted, Chilliwack RCMP report he has been taken into custody.
Mounties are looking for tips to locate 22-year-old Darius Calvin Commodore of Chilliwack who is wanted on B.C.-wide warrant.
Commodore is wanted on the warrants for nine counts of failure to comply with undertaking.
Some of those charges stem from other convictions related to incidents as far back as 2017, when he was charged with eight counts alongside Owen Dale Charpentier for, among other things, motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Commodore was last scheduled to be in court to face four of the breach charges on May 14. He did not appear and a warrant was issued at that time. His trial on those matters is scheduled for Sept. 23.
Darius Calvin Commodore is described as: Indigenous male; height 178 centimetres (5’10”); weight 74 kilograms (163 lbs); with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police say that anyone who spots Commodore should not attempt to apprehend him and immediately call 911.
