Golden Ears Bridge was jammed up southbound following a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident early Monday. Reports say that there was gridlock as far as the Lougheed Highway for vehicles lining up to get on to the bridge and cross over to Langley.
Ridge Meadows RCMP said they the received a call at 6:02 a.m. after a Chevy pickup truck was in collision with a stalled Hyundai sedan.
“Police would like to remind drivers they should ensure their vehicle displays their hazard lights when stalled and that other drivers are paying attention and driving relative to road conditions while they are waiting for first responders to arrive,” said Const. Julie Klaussner with Ridge Meadows RCMP.
