Lougheed Highway was closed Monday east of 240th Street in Maple Ridge after a head-on collision.

Ridge Meadows RCMP confirmed two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision just before 3 p.m.

All occupants were out of the vehicles.

One of the vehicles, a white Ford truck, rolled over and ended up on the side of the road, right of the westbound lane.

A red Honda Civic was also involved. It remained in the middle of the highway, its front end entirely missing.

The Honda Civic had a male driver and the white Ford pickup truck had a male driver and male passenger.

The three men were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Ridge Meadows RCMP inspector Aaron Paradis said the investigation remains in the early stages as RCMP traffic services look at all and any causal factors.
