An accident along Highway 1 near Hope early Thursday (July 30) that caused delays heading westbound has been cleared.
An update from DriveBC at 1:55 p.m. stated that the highway is now clear, after the right lane of the highway westbound was closed throughout Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at Exit 168 and was first reported on DriveBC at 6:30 a.m. Initially all laned were blocked westbound, with vehicles advised to use Flood Hope Road through Hope to get around the accident scene.
