Highway 1 is closed east of Revelstoke near the west entrance to Glacier National Park right now.
Drive BC is reporting a vehicle incident between Jumping Creek Rd and the boundary to the park is the cause of the closure.
They are estimating the highway will reopen at 7:30 p.m.
No detour is available.
