The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened after a multi-vehicle incident closed the highway for several hours Wednesday.
According to DriveBC, the highway closed shortly after 4 p.m. and opened at 9:20 p.m.
OPEN – #BCHwy1 is now open after previous vehicle incident 16 km West of #Revelstoke to 25 km east of #Sicamous. Drive with care and expect delays due to congestion.

There is currently no word on the cause of the accident and no injuries have been reported at this time.

Highway 1 is closed 16 km west of Revelstoke due to a multi-vehicle incident.
Traffic is backed up and Drive BC is saying to expect delays however a detour has been created for single lane alternating traffic down Three Valley Frontage Rd.
