A man is in “serious condition” after a being stabbed in Surrey Sunday morning.
BC Emergency Health Services told Peace Arch News first-responders were called to the 64 Avenue and 152 Street area at approximately 10 a.m.
“Two paramedic crews dispatched to the scene. Advanced Care Paramedics transported one patient to hospital in serious condition,” BCEHS said.
Surrey RCMP said officers were called to the 6400-block of 152 Street after receiving reports of an altercation between two men.
“Upon attendance, a male victim was located with an injury to his arm and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment,” Surrey RCMP said in the release. Both men were known to each other. The incident is not believed to be connected to gang activity, police added.
