UPDATE: Missing Chilliwack man has been without meds for more than a week

RCMP are asking the public to keep an eye out for the 70-year-old last seen on a silver bike

Have you spotted Elgin Frankan MacKinnon biking around town since he was reported missing?

Elgin was last seen riding a bicycle in the 9100-block of Hazel Street on March 18, 2019 and was reported missing by family the next day, according to Chilliwack RCMP.

“Police and family remain concerned for the well-being of Mr. MacKinnon who has been without required medication for over a week,” says RCMP Cpl. Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.

RCMP GIS officers are asking everyone to keep an eye out for the missing man, or for Mr. MacKinnon to contact police himself.

Police are following all leads in their search and have not dismissed the possibility that the senior left the Chilliwack area.

MacKinnon is described as: Caucasian male, 175 cm (5’9″), 75 kg (165 lbs), grey hair, and brown eyes. He was wearing a white hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and brown hiking boots, and riding a silver mountain bike with yellow and black lettering.
