As per a social media post, “The RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 28-year-old woman reported missing on January 3, 2021 has been located, and she is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance.”

The Comox Valley RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Chelsea Poirier.
Poirier was reported missing to the Comox Valley RCMP on Jan. 3. She was last seen in Courtenay on Dec. 22, 2020, and was wearing large black outdoor pants, a dark coloured jacket, light coloured rain jacket, and a black toque with a red/white square logo on the back. Poirier was carrying a large hiking backpack and an umbrella.
Poirier is approximately 4’10” and 100 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
