Missing Victoria senior Elsie Habbick was located Monday night by the Saanich Police after a concerned citizen, who knew she was missing, spotted her and called 911. She is now safe and has been reconnected with her family. The Victoria Police Department has sent out thanks to the city and to the Saanich Police Department for their help.
Victoria police sent out a plea for the public’s help in locating Habbick, who suffers from dementia, on Monday. Despite her diagnosis, the 75-year-old is quite mobile and had been reported missing after last being seen in James Bay around noon.
