ORIGINAL STORY:
Alexis Creek RCMP, Tsilhqot’in National Government rangers and search and rescue members are searching for a missing man west of Williams Lake, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020.
Randolph (Randy) Hiebert was last seen around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Tl’etinqox (Anaham) in a late 1970’s or early 1980’s light green Ford super cab pickup. It is believed he may have gone grouse hunting with a slingshot.
Alexis Creek RCMP said Hiebert suffers from dementia and takes medication daily. Family, friends and the RCMP are very concerned for his well being.
Search and rescue has been activated and the search for Hiebert has been conducted on land and air. As of Tuesday morning (Oct. 6), there have been no sightings of Randolph or his vehicle.
Heibert is described as Caucasian male 5′ 11″ tall and 190 pounds.
