UPDATE: RCMP say they are pleased to report that the 37-year-old man who was reported missing yesterday has been located and is “safe and sound.”
PREVIOUSLY POSTED: Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a 37-year-old man who was last seen in the area of Bruce Avenue and Weeks Crescent at about 5:30 a.m. this morning, April 13.
William Robert Sport’s vehicle was recently found abandoned near that same location and his immediate family and his friends are extremely worried for his safety and well-being.
Sport is Indigenous, 5-foot-3, 150 pounds with a tattoo on his left thumb.
Anyone with information on Sport’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file No. 2021-13122.
