A 72-year-old woman who went missing from a Langley care facility on Friday was found sitting on a park bench in West Vancouver three days later, said police.
The woman was taken to Langley Memorial Hospital and her family has been notified, said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.
The woman uses transit to get around but doesn’t communicate with people she doesn’t know. Police were concerned for her because she was in need of daily medication.
Langley RCMP also asked for the public’s help in locating a 39-year-old Langley man who also went missing over the weekend. He has since been located safe.
Meanwhile, a 51-year-old Langley man who was last heard from on June 4 is still missing.
Brian Wahl is transient in nature and suffers from a few medical conditions that can make him disoriented and confused at times, police said.
It is not unusual for him to go extended periods of time without speaking to his family, which is why he was not reported missing until September.
He is known to travel around and his whereabouts may not be limited to Langley.
It is unknown what he may be wearing. Wahl is approximately five feet, five inches tall, 145 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. It is unknown if he still has a beard.
Anyone with information on Wahl’s whereabouts is asked to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or provide information anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.
