A pedestrian was taken to hospital Thursday afternoon with non-life-threatening injuries following a collision on Hillside Avenue between Douglas and Blanshard streets.
Just before 2 p.m. on Aug. 6, the Victoria Police Department noted on Twitter that officers were on their way to the 700-block of Hillside Avenue where a pedestrian was struck in a “low-speed collision.”
Police say the pedestrian was transported to hospital by paramedics and drivers were asked to avoid the area at the time as traffic was impacted.
