A pedestrian was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a semi-truck on Thursday, June 11.
Just before 7 a.m., Kelowna RCMP were called upon to assist emergency medical crews who were responding to a report of a pedestrian involved collision in the 500-block of Harvey Avenue in Kelowna.
The RCMP has begun its investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
The adult male pedestrian sustained serious injuries and is currently at Kelowna General Hospital.
The driver of the commercial vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
This incident occurred along the same stretch of Harvey Avenue where a cyclist was struck by a dump truck on June 4.
