The Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre on Harris Road reopened Tuesday at 3 p.m., after being closed earlier to assess water damage from an ice jam on its roof.
City communications manager Carolyn Baldridge said the water damage was limited mainly to the eastern side of the building, mainly affecting the Discovery Playhouse Children’s Society non-profit daycare, which rents space in the building. The daycare will remain closed for Tuesday and Wednesday, with parents to be updated later.
