For the second time in less than a month police responded to a report of shots fired on Watson Road.
This time it ended far better. RCMP spokesperson Mike Rail said it turned out to be a fireworks complaint from the 45000 block.
The noise made by the fireworks was loud enough to prompt a hold-and-secure for four minutes at nearby Watson elementary school.
Units responded and a landing zone was briefly set up for an air ambulance, but those units stood down within minutes.
On April 15 a similar report turned out to be a murder-suicide that claimed the life of two people.
