Roads will remain closed at 216th Street and Dewdney Trunk Road for much of Thursday as BC Hydro crews make repairs after an early morning crash knocked out power to 750 customers.
“A single vehicle incident occurred early this morning between the 216 (Street) and Dover Street area,” explained Cst. Julie Klaussner.
“At this time impairment is not believed to be a factor but the investigation is continuing.”
The 5 a.m. crash had taken out power to the area north of Dewdney Trunk Road, south of 124th Street, east of 216th Street, and west of 223rd Street, according to BC Hydro.

No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash, Klaussner noted.
Roads will be closed for most of the day while Hydro crews repair the area; one lane westbound will be open to local traffic.
