PREVIOUSLY POSTED: Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to try to find a senior who was reported missing last week.

Family members told police that 65-year-old Johanna Coccioloni has always maintained monthly contact, but that has stopped without explanation in recent months.

“For this reason, her family and friends are extremely worried for her safety and well-being,” noted a Nanaimo RCMP press release.

Coccioloni had been staying at shelters, but investigators haven’t been able to find out further information.

Coccioloni is Caucasian, 5-foot-2 with a medium build, long wavy brown hair and wears glasses.
