Two vehicles collided west of Hedley, one vehicle ran off the road east of Hedley

A two vehicle collision occured today, Dec. 28, on Hwy. 3 west of the bridge at the entrance to Hedley.

The incident happened at approximately 3 p.m. and two trucks are en route.

Traffic is being rerouted through Hedley alternating, and RCMP and Hedley Fire Department are on scene. Drivers are cautioned to slow down when passing emergency vehicles and that the incident may cause delays.

A vehicle is being removed from the ditch at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 near Rustic Campground. Traffic is still moving in the area at a reduced speed. Photo submitted by Kerri-Anne Kedziora

Another vehicle is currently being removed from the ditch near Rustic Campground east of Hedley. Traffic is able to proceed past the area at a reduced speed.
