Terrace RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 35-year-old Craig Laberge and said the local man had not been seen since Nov. 23, 2018.
Laberge was reported missing on Nov. 27 and police say all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
Laberge is described as 6’1 First Nations male weighing 249 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and heavy build.
The Terrace Standard has confirmed with Laberge’s employer that he was at work yesterday. Laberge’s employer says he had been unavailable for a week but returned to work on Nov. 30.
“When I left work at 9 p.m. yesterday he was still there finishing up,” the employer says.
RCMP say more information has come in since the release was posted but have no visual confirmation yet.
“Sometimes the information is not relayed to us, but it’s good that people are now coming forth with some leads. Hopefully, we’ll be able to verify that he is well and safe sooner than later,” says Cst. Crystal Evelyn.
If you have seen or communicated with Laberge or know of his whereabouts, please contact 911, the Terrace RCMP at (250)638-7400, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers by telephone at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.terracecrimestoppers.ca.
