The Trans-Canada Highway is open to single-lane alternating traffic west of Revelstoke due to flooding and the highway is open again between Revelstoke and Golden.
DriveBC said to expect significant delays.
On July 2, Drive BC reported highway crews were on scene assessing the flooding which is approximately 15 km west of Revelstoke in the vicinity of Victor Lake Provincial Park.
DriveBC is also reporting the highway between Revelstoke and Golden is closed due to over capacity in Revelstoke.

The highway was closed at approximately 8 a.m. to the west on July 2, and around 9:15 p.m. to the east on July 2.

Photos posted to Twitter by the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Rocky Mountain Division show heavy equipment on scene, clearing ditches as a curtain of water and debris flows across the highway at the flooding site west of Revelstoke.
DriveBC has also reported that the Upper Arrow Lakes Ferry, on Highway 23 south of Revelstoke, has an estimated wait time of two hours due to diverted traffic. The ferry will be running all night in order to accommodate the increased traffic.
Due to the closure on #BCHwy1 west of #Revelstoke, the inland ferries (#Needles, #UpperArrowLake) will remain in operation until further notice. Do expect major delays and multiple sailing waits for the ferries.
