Highway 1 has re-opened with intermittent closures after closing earlier today for high avalanche hazard between Golden Donald Upper Road and Kicking Horse Rest Area.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. local time, expect up to 20 minute delays due to the closures.
The closures will be ongoing until approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The next update will by at 12:15 a.m.
