Two people have been arrested in Chilliwack and charged with possession of stolen property in relation to thefts in Revelstoke earlier this week.
On Monday December 17, 2018 the RCMP received multiple complaints of thefts all originating in a residential area of Revelstoke. Between 4th and 8th Streets, all east of Mackenzie Avenue, the police received numerous reports of thefts; in summary an attempted stolen licence plate, theft of sled and trailer, entrance into a parking garage, stolen $3000 bicycle, theft of cargo trailer, and several vehicles entered. The RCMP have received a set of keys located in a vehicle that were most likely placed there by the thieves, possibly as a result of being stolen from another vehicle.

RCMP say they have recovered the sled and trailer, cargo trailer, and bicycle.
A male and female from Calgary have been arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, including the stolen Revelstoke bicycle. These persons were also allegedly in possession of stolen credit cards, licence plates and a 2014 Ford F150.
