Emergency crews were on scene at a rollover crash in the westbound lanes of Highway 1 in Chilliwack Tuesday.
Chilliwack Fire Department, RCMP and BC Ambulance Service were called to the single-vehicle scene around 2 p.m. on March 16 where a Tesla was found upside down in the centre median.
The rollover is in the westbound lanes, just west of the Yale Road West overpass.
Westbound traffic is still getting through slowly via the right lane, and traffic is able to access the highway with the onramp. The highway is not blocked eastbound, but traffic has slowed in that direction as well.
All occupants are reported to be out of the vehicle. An air ambulance has been dispatched and is planning to land at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, which has a helipad.
As of about 2:35 p.m., traffic westbound was backed up almost to Lickman Road.
