UPDATE: A man was sent to hospital with a stab wound following an incident at a home in the 1100 block of Second Avenue Saturday evening.
Staff Sgt. Del Byron said it appeared there may have been an altercation at the home prior to the call for assistance, and while the man was sent to hospital, a woman was also treated for cuts to her hand and arrested in relation to the incident.
Police were seen responding to the incident as residents were preparing to watch the 2019 Dry Grad Parade.
UPDATE:
Police have not provided any more information regarding the incident on Second Avenue North Saturday, however, said it is not connected to Saturday evening’s homicide at Toosey Reserve which occured at roughly the same time.

The Williams Lake RCMP are expected to release information Sunday regarding an incident that occured Saturday afternoon.
Police could be seen responding at approximately 5:30 p.m. with lights and sirens to the Glendale area as families were preparing to watch the Dry Grad Parade in downtown Williams Lake.

At about 7 p.m. officers were still securing a scene at a residence between Second Avenue North and Mackenzie Avenue.
