UPDATED: Highway 3 conditions for Grand Forks and area

With upwards of 10 centimetres of snow expected for the Grand Forks area, here are driving conditions for Highway 3.

While the snow has stopped, the The Weather Network forecasting anywhere from five to 10 centimetres of snow from Friday to Saturday afternoon (as of 1:54 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17).

Here are Highway 3 conditions for Grand Forks and the surrounding area.

According to drivebc.ca, as of around 4:09 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17:

– Compact snow with slushy sections are being reported for the area 7.5 km east of Christina Lake to the Paulson Bridge (16.6 km).

– The same conditions are being reported for the area between Eholt Summit to Grand Forks (24.2 km).
