Members from Search and Rescue teams across the Province along with the RCMP Police Dog Service assisted in conducting extensive ground searches of the area where Taylor OELRICH was last seen. Taylor OELRICH has still not been located.
The Golden-Field RCMP and GADSAR have met with the family and updated them on the extent and outcome of the search. GADSAR will deploy a canine unit in the area to conduct a final ground search in the morning. At this time police are confident that a thorough ground search has been conducted, and efforts will now be focused on further searches of the Columbia River, which runs adjacent to where Taylor OELRICH was last seen.
A member of the RCMP Dive team will be arriving in Golden tomorrow to assess whether an underwater dive of the Columbia River can be safely conducted.
The Golden-Field RCMP along with the family of Tayler OELRICH would like to express their gratitude to all the volunteers with Search and Rescue who have spent their time searching for Taylor.

On February 15, 2015 at 10:40 am (MST), Taylor OELRICH was reported missing to the Golden-Field RCMP.
Taylor OELRICH was last seen by a friend at approximately 4:00 am outside the lodge that they were staying in near the Town of Golden.
Description of Taylor OELRICH:
- caucasian male. 27 years, 5ft8in(172cm), 160 lbs (72 kg), blond hair, blue eyes
He is believed to be wearing:
- Blue jeans, Grey t-shirt, Black baseball cap with Baker Hughes on it,, Skateboard style shoes
Golden and Area Search and Rescue (GADSAR) have conducted an aerial search by helicopter, and are currently conducting a ground search with the assistance of a canine.
