UPDATED: New tires didn’t prevent a rollover crash

Driver of pickup truck ticketed

One person suffered what were described as minor injuries when a pickup truck flipped over in LAngley on 204 Street near 62 Avenue around 7:30 a.m. in Langley.

Police reported the driver and registered owner of the truck, a 47-year-old Langley man, said he had just purchased new all-season tires for his vehicle.

Witnesses told RCMP the pickup hopped the curb before it flipped in a parking lot on the west side of 204.

Police issued a ticket for crossing a solid line.
