The criminal that was on the loose in the Clearwater area has been arrested.
On June 18 Clearwater RCMP tried to execute an arrest warrant, but the man in question ran from police.
“There are warrants out for his arrest and when we attempted to execute them he fled on foot, barefoot and shirtless,” said Sgt. Grant Simpson of the Clearwater RCMP.
The escapee was described as having several tattoos, short and thinning blond hair and is about 5’9 tall.
He’s roughly 35-years-old, 170 lbs, unshaven and was wearing dark pinstriped pajama-style pants.
Schools in the community were also on hold and secure for a portion of the day and search helicopters were seen in the area, but police said there was no threat to children or the public.
Police also noted they can’t release his name or the nature of his crime(s), but he’s from Chilliwack and was likely trying to get back there.
