Saanich Police have arrested 27-year-old wanted Victoria man Christopher Elliott, Monday evening.
VicPD had been appealing to the public to locate the potentially dangerous man, saying they believed he was a risk to public safety. Elliott was wanted for breaching his conditions related to an ongoing criminal harassment investigation.
Elliott is described as a five-foot-two Caucasian man with a slender build and thick dark brown hair. He has a goatee with stubble and was known to frequent downtown Victoria, including the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.
In a tweet, VicPD said, “Thank you to members of our community, including members of local media, social media, [Victoria Crime Stoppers] and members of the public who shared his info and called in tips.”
Elliott currently remains in custody.
