North Okanagan – including Vernon

South Okanagan – including Penticton

a special weather statement remains in effect for:

Central Okanagan – including Kelowna

North Okanagan – including Vernon

South Okanagan – including Penticton

Showers and thunderstorms over the southeast interior this evening….

A cold front will sweep across the southeast interior tonight, generating showers and thunderstorms.

10 to 20 mm of rain is likely over many regions by Friday morning with the potential for higher amounts in regions affected by severe thunderstorms.

The thunder rolling through the Okanagan valley is expected to continue.

Environment Canada’s severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect.

Buckets of rain and hail have already dumped on the valley and more could transpire this evening and Friday according to the forecast.
