Vehicle recovery has begun for a tractor-trailer that caught fire in the early hours of Dec. 13.
According to DriveBC, single lane alternating traffic is in effect and intermittent closures during the recovery process are expected.
Motorists are asked to watch for traffic control and expect delays due to congestion.
The incident was reported between Messiter Summit Rest Area and Messiter Southbound chain up near Avola, B.C. and happened at about 2:30 a.m., said RCMP. No one was injured.
