Vandals smash bus shelters

Police ask for the public's help in identifying the culprit or culprits whose actions have cost the city thousands of dollars.

The Salmon Arm RCMP would like the public’s help in their investigation of vandalism in the city.

Police report that in the past week, bus shelters have been vandalized, with panes of glass smashed in five locations. A total of 13 glass panels have been broken at a significant expense to the city. The damage is well into the thousands of dollars.

The RCMP have one witness report pertaining to the investigation. The witness reported seeing a small Toyota car drive away from one bus shelter after an occupant threw an article at the glass, smashing it.
