Part of the Vedder Rotary trail on the south side of the river is now closed for maintenance work to be completed.
It’s going to take about a week.
“To safely perform trail upgrades near the Southern Railway train bridge, several trails in the Vedder Rotary South trail network will be closed Monday, August 26 to Friday, August 30, from Wilson Road to Lumsden Road,” according to the City of Chilliwack notice.
They are asking trail users to choose an alternate route during the upgrade if the trail is part of their regular routine.
