Vernon firefighters provided quick response as flames consumed an office building Tuesday night.
Crews descended on the Ministry of Social Development office on 48th Avenue, across from the old Kal Tire headquarters, just before 7 p.m. Also located in the building is a foot doctor.
Traffic was redirected away from that section of 48th Avenue while firefighters tackled the blaze.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
