Vernon group manages Funtastic scores

Funtastic Summer Festival picks Servillian Solution and its Spectrum Online Sports Management to manage live game results

Canada’s largest slowpitch tournament is going high-tech.

The Funtastic Summer Festival has selected Vernon-based Servillian Solution and its Spectrum Online Sports Management to collect, report, and manage the live game results on the Spectrum Tournament website from June 29 to July 2.

“With Spectrum, we now can offer  the added convenience of using mobile phone devices to submit scores and view the scoreboard from anywhere,” said Jim McEwan, Funtastic executive director.

“No longer will a team need to physically submit their score sheet at the scoreboard area.”

Besides this, Funtastic will convert its existing registration system to the Spectrum system, allowing teams to sign up online right at the tournament for the next year.

“No two leagues or tournaments run the same way, and early in our product design we made it a goal of ours to create a product that had the flexibility to accommodate any requirement,” said  Spectrum CEO Bradley Holbrook.

“We’ve been successful in this for many organizations and extremely proud that we can continue to do this for Funtastic and hope this new feature will enable other tournaments across the world to use it.”
