Vernon firefighters were called out to an early morning blaze Saturday.
Reports first came in at about 5:22 a.m. of a residential house fire in the 3009 block of 38th Street.
“We will be determining cause this afternoon,” said Lawrie Skolrood, Vernon deputy fire chief.
Significant structural damage was apparently done to the roof and the second flood of the home.
