Vernon Vipers extend BCHL winning streak to four games

TJ Dumonceaux and Luke Voltin each scored twice to lead Vipers to a 5-2 win over the visiting Trail Smoke Eaters Saturday in Vernon

TJ Dumonceaux and Luke Voltin each scored twice, and goalie Jarrod Schamerhorn made 25 saves as the Vernon Vipers won their fourth B.C. Hockey League game in a row Saturday night, stopping the Trail Smoke Eaters 5-2 in front of 1,700 fans at Kal Tire Place.

Liam Coughlin had the other goal for the Vipers who never trailed Saturday, enjoying period leads of 1-0 and 4-1.

Vernon outshot Trail 32-27 on the night.

Vernon Minor Hockey product Harlan Orr had both goals for the Smoke Eaters.
