The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died following a water-skiing incident on Sugar Lake near Cherryville Tuesday.
Brenda Lee Roine, 46, of Coldstream, was water-skiing with family members when she fell and was immediately unconscious in the water.
She was quickly recovered from the lake and rushed to shore, but died before reaching hospital in Vernon.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
The family has been notified of her death.
