An Enderby man who died Wednesday when his dirt bike collided with a vehicle in Ashton Creek has been identified.

An Enderby man who died Wednesday when his dirt bike collided with a vehicle in Ashton Creek has been identified.

Byron Richard Bentley, 22, was killed after his westbound Suzuki crossed the centreline and hit a Chevy Blazer head-on, just before 9 p.m.

The accident occurred in the 800 block of the Enderby-Mabel Lake Road, near the Ashton Creek Store.

The Blazer was driven by a 38-year-old Enderby man, who police officers indicate could be facing a charge of impaired driving as a result of the accident.

Police state that both vehicles involved in the accident were not insured.

The file remains under investigation by the RCMP.
