Victoria Hospital Foundation kicks off annual fix-a-heart fundraiser

Partnership with Canadian Tire has raised almost $800,000 since 2003

The Victoria Hospital Foundation has launched its annual Fix-A-Heart campaign.

The partnership between Canadian Tire and the Royal Jubilee Hospital asks shoppers to donate money to support important improvements to local hospitals.

Since 2003, the campaign has raised almost $800,000. This year the goal is to raise $50,000 to help fund a new patient monitoring systems for the Heart Health and Cardiovascular Units at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

The campaign runs until Dec. 24.
