The Victoria Women’s Show takes over the field house of Pearkes Recreation Centre this weekend, March 5 and 6.
The two-day event event features speakers who talk of issues of importance to women of all ages, from make-up tricks and tips to health and hormones.
Speakers include, Lorna VanderHaegh, a women’s health expert who has been researching nutritional medicine for over 30 years. She’ll lecture on Saturday at 12:20 p.m. and again at 2:50 p.m.
Dr. Gordon Pedersen is a naturopathic doctor and is also board-certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. He will speak at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
There is also a psychic clairvoyant, fitness experts and NLP practitioners during the weekend. For soap opera fans Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane Ashby, will be at the VIP Reception on Sunday and will be appearing at 11:30 Sunday where he will sign autographs.
Plus more than 80 exhibitors and vendors will showcase everything from jewelry to chocolate, clothing to wigs, purses to financial advice, home decor to homeopathy. It is all there and all geared for women.
It’s described as the ultimate girls’ weekend. Door prizes, goody bags and the chance to win a 2016 Elantra from Victoria Hyundai make it one of the great reasons to attend.
